The Chinese manufacturer 7Artisans has released four inexpensive manual lenses for mirrorless system cameras. The range varies from a fisheye to a portrait lens and there are versions for cameras from Canon, Sony, Fujifilm, Olympus, Panasonic and Leica.

The cheapest lens is the 25mm f/1.8, which is offered for $70. Converted with VAT, that is about 74 euros. The manufacturer makes the bright lens in versions for cameras with Sony E, Fujifilm X and micro four thirds lens mounts. The design consists of seven elements in five groups and the diaphragm has twelve blades.

For Sony E, Fujifilm X and Canon EF-M mount cameras, 7Artisans makes a 35mm f/2 lens. This example also has twelve blades and a lens design of seven elements in five groups. The weight is 320 grams and the price is 156 dollars. The lens would also be suitable for full-frame sensors.

The 7.5mm f/2.8 fisheye lens will be launched with Sony E, Fujifilm X and micro four thirds mounts. The angle of view would be a maximum of 180 degrees. This probably does not apply to the mft version, because the sensor of cameras with that mount is smaller. The fisheye consists of eleven elements in eight groups and costs 140 dollars.

7Artisans also presented a lens for Leica M cameras. The bright 50 mm f/1.1 also has twelve blades and consists of seven elements in six groups. The manufacturer says it uses a Sonnar design for the lens, which costs $370.

The manufacturer has the manual lenses on its website, but there are few details there. More information can be found on a shopping page on Amazon. Ordering from the Benelux is currently not possible via Amazon. The glassware is also offered by sellers on eBay.
