Blizzard Entertainment is working on a massive multiplayer online real time strategy game. This is evident from the studio’s vacancies. This is an unannounced project, possibly a Warcraft mobile game.

Blizzard is looking for a senior client engineer, a lead artist and an environment artist for the project. The vacancy texts state that it concerns an unannounced mmo-rts project for mobile. The vacancies were noticed by a user of the Neogaf forum.

Details about the game are not yet known, but it is likely that Blizzard will bring one of its existing RTS games to smartphones and tablets in a new mmo form. The poster on Neogaf notes that Blizzard already had a job posting online in May that talked about a mobile game with a reference to Warcraft.

The new vacancies show that the game is made with the Unity engine. Blizzard also used that engine for Heartstone, which is the only game the company released for smartphones and tablets so far. It is not yet clear if and if so when Blizzard will officially reveal the project. The game maker could use its own BlizzCon event for that, which will take place on November 3 and 4 this year.

In August, Blizzard announced at the presentation of its quarterly results that several new games are being worked on, without naming titles. However, the studio also said it was looking at mobile games and indicated that there is no rush to release new games.
