Apple Mac Pro and Pro Display XDR cost 6499 and 5499 euros

Apple has started selling its new Mac Pro and Pro Display XDR display. The euro prices are now also known. The Mac Pro starts at 6499 euros and the monitor is available from 5499 euros.

The new Mac Pro and the 32″ display have been available to order since Tuesday. Apple previously announced the products, but then only announced dollar prices. The desktop version of the renewed Mac Pro is available for purchase from 6499 euros. Rack version from 7199 euros.

The cheapest configuration has a Xeon W processor with eight cores and 32GB DDR4-ecc memory. The video card is a Radeon Pro 580X with 8GB gddr5 and there is a 256GB SSD for storage. For an additional fee, you can opt for a Xeon CPU with 28 cores, 1.5TB RAM, two Radeon Pro Vega II Duo cards with 32GB HBM2 each and 4TB SSD storage. With those specifications, the computer costs 59,539 euros. There is also a variant of the housing with wheels, which costs 480 euros extra.

Apple offers the Pro Display XDR from 5499 euros. A version equipped with glass with a nanostructure costs 6499 euros. In both cases, that is the price without a standard. The adjustable Pro Stand is for sale for 1099 euros.

The 32″ display has an LCD IPS panel with a resolution of 6016×3384 pixels and peak brightness of 1600cd/m2. The screen can also show a constant brightness of 1000cd/m2. The backlight consists of 576 dimmable zones.
