AMD introduced two new processors on March 1, which the company announced last month. It concerns an apu, the A10-7890K and an Athlon processor, the X4 880K. The processors come with new coolers.

Following the announcement in February this year, in which AMD introduced the new Wraith cooler bundled with an FX8370 processor, the American company has again released a few processors. The new A10-7890K comes with a Wraith cooler and has four processor cores with clock speeds from 4.1GHz to 4.3GHz on board. The R7 GPU has eight cores and a clock speed of 866MHz. The tdp is 95W and the multiplier is freely adjustable to enable overclocking.

The Athlon X4 880K also has a freely adjustable multiplier with which the clock speed of the four cores can be increased. By default, they tap at 4GHz to 4.2GHz and this Athlon lacks a gpu of course. The TDP is 95W, but AMD provides a Wraith-like cooler that can dissipate up to 125W of heat. The same cooler is included with the A10-7870K. That apu has been available for some time, but with a different cooler. The processors would actually be available at the end of March and the A10-7890K should cost $165, while the Athlon X4 880K will have a suggested retail price of $95.
