ABN Amro was struggling with a malfunction on the website and in the app – update

ABN Amro suffered a malfunction on Tuesday evening, as a result of which the website was not accessible and it was not possible to log in via the app. The bank confirms the problems and was able to solve them after about an hour.

The reports of the outage started on Twitter at about 7:00 PM. Allestoringen.nl also shows a high peak at that time. Via Twitter gives the bank that there is a malfunction affecting the website and the app.

The website is completely unreachable and when customers try to log in via the app, they are shown a message that the server is temporarily unavailable. The bank says it is working on a solution, but it is not clear when customers will be able to bank again.

Update 8 pm: The website is now available and customers have informed that they can log in to the app again. The bank gives on Twitter at that the problems have been resolved. It is unknown what caused the problems.
