Download Driver For ATi Linux Driver 3.11.1
ATi has released version 3.11.1 of its drivers for Linux. The driver is available for Xfree86 versions 4.10† 4.20 and 4.30 and ATi has the following script made available to find out which version of Xfree86 you are running. The full release notes can be read here, but shortly follows here a summary of the changes:
New products supported:
- FireGL X3-256
- RADEON X800 (GP only)
Issues Resolved:
- fglrx RPM files are now conflicting with older fglrx-glc22 as originally intended
- fglrx kernel module is now compiling properly on 2.6.6 and later kernels
- The Color Palette now remains intact when switching VT terminals
- Running a 3D application after any DGA applications no longer hangs the system
- Enabling Quad-Buffer stereo on FireGL X1/Z1 no longer results in desktop corruption
Known Issues:
- Screen is blank when launching X on RADEON X800 or FireGL X3
- TV Display is corrupt after switching resolutions
- 3D Linux applications corrupt or hang with “force multi-sample visuals” enabled
