EA will release an enhanced version of Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S. The new version will receive undisclosed “technical improvements” and will be free to those who already own the game.

No substantive details are known about the improved version of Jedi Fallen Order, but EA already released a patch at the beginning of this year that allows the game to run at higher frame rates and resolutions on the new consoles. So the new version that will be released in the summer will be a bigger upgrade, with probably more significant changes.

EA says it will soon provide more details about the new release of Jedi Fallen Order. For the time being, this is a small announcement in the context of Star Wars Day 2021, which will take place next May 4. It is already clear that the upgrade will be free for everyone who already owns the game. The game is also part of EA Play, which includes the Game Pass Ultimate subscription and Game Pass for PC.
