The Windows version of the VoIP program Skype has just been updated to version number 3.0.0.217. With this program you can have free conversations with other Skype users anywhere in the world and with an amazing quality. It is also possible, against one minimum fee, to ‘call’ landline and mobile phones. In addition to this version for Windows, versions for Linux, Mac OS X and the Pocket PC are also being developed, but these are technically somewhat behind the Windows version. This version comes with new plugins for both Firefox and Internet Explorer and fixes one issue. The full changelog looks like this:
