Xiaomi to start selling products in Spain
Xiaomi will start offering products in Spain next week. It is the first Western European country where electronics from the Chinese manufacturer will be available through the company itself. Xiaomi already has a webshop in Poland.
Xiaomi will hold an event next Tuesday, during which it will announce which products will hit the market in Spain, tweets a top executive. This probably concerns the Mi A1, a device with Android One software, and the Mi Mix 2. Both smartphones came out in recent months in China, India and Poland, among others.
In addition to smartphones, Xiaomi also makes a range of other products, including tablets, laptops and products such as TVs, lamps and drones. The manufacturer achieved the most success with its fitness trackers under the name Mi Band and its power banks.
The Chinese manufacturer has been making electronics for six years, but has been slow to expand the countries where it offers its products. A year ago, the electronics maker started offering products in Poland. It is unknown when the manufacturer will expand to other European countries.
