Visceral extends the current Battlefield Hardline beta test by one week. As a result, the beta will be playable until the evening of June 26 for players with a Windows system or PlayStation 4. There will also be a second beta in the fall.

The second beta test will be available on all platforms on which Hardline is released, including the Xbox One. Earlier it was announced that the Xbox One beta will be a different version than the beta test that is currently being held. Visceral says it likes to use beta testing because it wants to process the feedback from gamers in the game. On Wednesday it was announced that the PC version of the beta of Hardline will be immediately accessible to anyone who signs up from that day onwards. Previously, only selected players were allowed access to the test on PC. However, the PlayStation 4 beta will remain closed.

The beta test, which will start in the fall of this year, will be an open beta for all platforms. Players who participate in the beta tests will have unique camouflage and a separate weapon sight when the game comes out. They will also receive a unique Battlefield 4 dog tag and access to additional content, although it is not known what this content entails. Hardline is the latest first-person shooter from DICE and Visceral that will be released on October 21. The game focuses on the ‘war’ against crime and the battle between police and criminals.
