The alleged Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 6GB has surfaced at an Austrian online store. Rumors have been going around for some time about the arrival of that video card, which would have less memory and fewer CUDA cores than the existing RTX 3050 desktop video card.

The unannounced video card recently appeared at the Austrian web store E-tec, noted German tech website Computerbase. The video card is listed there with a price of 245.15 euros. This is probably a placeholder, since the price is higher than that of the current RTX 3050 with a more powerful GPU and more memory. VideoCardz spoke earlier about a possible suggested retail price of $179, where the 8GB variant became available for $249.

Nvidia will release the RTX 3050 6GB in February, according to previous rumors. The video card will have 2GB less memory and fewer CUDA cores than the current RTX 3050, which has 8GB GDDR6. The video card would have 2304 CUDA cores, compared to 2560 in the RTX 3050 8GB.

The Austrian webshop states that the card will have 2048 CUDA cores. VideoCardz, which has a good track record on GPU rumors, wrote on Tuesday that this may be based on incorrect information from a distributor. The Austrian online store also mentions a TGP of 130W, while previous rumors state that the 6GB variant will have a TGP of 70W.
