Mozilla has made tracking protection live in its Firefox browser for the Android version. The browser builder has announced this. Mozilla previously announced that the feature was coming.

The tracking protection that Mozilla has named Total Cookie Protection will be included in the stable version of Firefox for Android from this week. says Mozilla. The feature works by limiting cookies to the site that sets them. This cannot be accessed from other domains, so tracking across multiple sites no longer works.

Mozilla first introduced the Total Cookie Protection option with version 86. In summer 2022, the feature was enabled by default for the desktop version of the browser, while Firefox Focus also uses the privacy feature by default.
