Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League has been delayed until February 2024
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has been postponed and will now be released on February 2, 2024. Initially, the game was supposed to be released on May 26, but developer Rocksteady says they want to improve the quality of the game with the extra time.
“We have made the difficult but necessary decision to take the time necessary to provide the best quality experience for the players,” the developer writes on Twitter. The company does not provide any explanation about what exactly is being improved or why the game is being postponed by eight months relatively shortly before the release date. Rocksteady says it plans to provide more details in the coming months.
In early March, a Bloomberg source said the game would be postponed, which source said “later this year.” That source also gave no reason for the postponement. The open-world third-person shooter was announced in August 2020 and can be played in single-player or co-op. In co-op, up to four players can play together. When announced, a release in 2022 was still discussed. The developer previously made DC superhero games such as Batman: Arkham Asylum, Arkham City and Arkham Knight. Warner Bros. is the publisher of the game, which will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC.
