Download Xvid 1.2.1
A new build of the open source video codec is available on Xvid’s website in the form of version 1.2.1. Xvid is an open source codec based on the mpeg4 standard and allows you to convert images and sound to the native xvid format. The new version is a bug fix release on the 1.2.0 build released this week and is available from this page for Linux and Windows. Xvid binaries for Windows are available from Koepi’s site as usual to download. The changelog of version 1.2.1 looks like this:
This release is Xvid 1.2.1 bug fix release. It is API compatible with the previous 1.2.0 stable release.
