Anonymous: 84808 found a new release of the Nieuwsklok on the RNW website. The news sticker has been upgraded to version number 2.0.0 and shows the latest news from the broadcaster every five minutes. The supplied world map shows the daylight curve using the system time. Unfortunately no changelog is known, but the following list of features is:
Particularities:
- the news clock can be hidden, while it continues to refresh the messages; you will hear a beep sound when there is news
- for some languages the radio news bulletins can be heard in streaming audio
- the world map can be hidden to save space on the screen
- when a new version is released, the news clock will indicate and renew itself
- you can choose another language by clicking the `MENU´ button
- the news clock can be started automatically when you turn on your computer
