Download Wine 1.3.18

After last week’s stable release, Wine’s usual biweekly development build has now arrived. Wine is an open source implementation of the Windows API. This makes it possible to run DOS and Windows programs on Linux, FreeBSD and Solaris, among others. Wine is contributed by a large group of developers and it has been decided to release a new so-called development version every two weeks, instead of waiting for a number of new functions to be ready. A stable edition is published a few times a year. The database with applications running under Wine, with or without some minor tweaks, it currently contains 16,540 titles, which is 66 more than at the time of version 1.3.17.
