Download WebCleaner 2.19

WebCleaner is an HTTP proxy with the ability to apply filtering techniques. This makes it possible to compress documents with gzip, disable animated gifs, use SquidGuard blacklists and remove malicious HTML code. Management can be performed with a clear web interface to make settings of the proxy and the filters to adjust. Recently, the developer released version 2.19 with the following changelog:

Version 2.19 “A Knight’s Tale”:

• Fix _webcleaner2_config.py file writing when –root directory has a trailing slash, and don’t write the unneeded output file list.
  This should fix custom installers (eg Gentoo scripts).
• Fixed ImageReducer initialization, and filter always if image size is not known
• Redirections to the proxy host are forbidden.
