Software Update: Trillian Astra 4.2 Build 18 Beta

Cerulean Studios released a new beta release of version 4.2 of the instant messaging program Trillian Astra on Tuesday. Trillian Astra allows chatting with users of many instant messaging and social networks, including Windows Live, ICQ, Skype (text only), Twitter and Facebook. Currently, Trillian Astra is available for Windows, Mac OS X, and iPhone, and there is a version that runs in a web browser. Soon comes there is also a version for blackberry. The following bug fixes have been made in this release:

  • [MSN] Hotmail mail notification keeps disappearing
  • [MSN] Msn default name overriding is not working with names that starts with “%” sign.

  • [MSN] Trillian invisible away mode changes personal/status message in Windows Live Messenger

  • [XMPP] Entering a Jabber chat room with ‘ in you nickname results in service disconnect.

  • [Languages] Crash when creating meta contact with Drag&Drop (German surface)
  • [Languages] Remove language code NO, add NB and NN

  • [Menu] Some items have incorrect margins (think they are multiline but draw single)
