Updates for the Windows and OS X versions of TeamViewer 8.0 have been released. With TeamViewer, other computers can be managed remotely via a secure VPN connection. TeamViewer is free for non-commercial use and is being developed for Windows, Linux, OS X, iOS and Android. New in version 8 includes the ability to transfer a session to another, add notes after a session, and record online meetings in Outlook. There is also a management console, in which, among other things, user accounts can be managed. The following changes have also been made in this update:

TeamViewer for Windows 8.0 build 16642:

• Fixed synchronization issues between TeamViewer Manager and Computers & Contacts
• Fixed LAN connections from version 8 to version 6 and lower
• Other minor improvements and fixes

TeamViewer for Mac 8.0 build 16638:

• Fixed LAN connections from version 8 to version 6 and lower
• After changing the remote resolution within a session, the original resolution will be restored again
• Fixed wrong positioning of the mouse cursor
• Fixed problems during the installation of TeamViewer
• Various other minor fixes and improvements
