Download Sysinternals Suite 2010-08-30
Microsoft released a new version of the Sysinternals Suite on Thursday. This package is a collection of useful tools for managing systems and obtaining comprehensive information about the computer. In this way, all kinds of problems can be detected and solved. The individual tools are being developed by Mark Russinovich and Bryce Cogswell, initially for Sysinternals and now for Microsoft. Some examples are Process Explorer, Bginfo, contig and disk mon. In total it concerns a collection of 66 different tools. Since the previous entry in the Meuktracker, the following two parts in the Suite have been updated:
ProcDump v2.0:
This major update to ProcDump, a tool that captures process dumps based on process CPU usage, memory consumption, and other behaviors, can now be configured to generate dumps based on the values of system performance counters.
Process Monitor v2.92:
This update adds a toolbar button that makes the process tree dialog more accessible. In order to make it easy to zoom in on a particular time range in a trace, it also introduces two quick-filter context menu items that enable you to filter out events before or after a selected event.
TCPView v3.02:
Fixes a GDI handle leak.
