The first stable release of StartAllBack has been released. This program can bring back the familiar start button, taskbar, explorer and context menus in Windows 11. As the name suggests, it is from the same maker as StartIsBack++. A license the program costs five or nine dollars and can be used on one or two computers. If you already have a license for StartIsBack++, then you only have to pay one and a half dollars per computer. Below is a summary of the changes made since release candidate 5:

  • Worked around z-order bugs with system modal error dialogs
  • Fixed Aero Peek invoked on thumbnail control buttons hover
  • Fixed Task View crash on Dev

StartAllBack version 3.0

  • Added mouse wheel on volume corner icon volume adjustment
  • Larger flyout menus used on touch displays
  • Separated disablement / cleanup for apps and recent items lists
  • Implemented proper policy for Widgets / Chats taskbar icons
  • Disabled immersive menus with Classic (no DWM somehow) mode
  • Fixes for install / uninstall with UAC off
