Spread the love

Qt is an open source, cross-platform framework for building applications and interfaces. With Qt, applications can be developed that can then be compiled without modification to run on various desktop and embedded platforms. The developers of Qt Software, the name Nokia gave to this division after the acquisition of Trolltech, have released version 4.7.3 of Qt. For more information, we refer you to this page. The corresponding announcement looks like this:

Qt 4.7.3 and Qt Mobility 1.1.3 have been released

We are happy to announce the Qt 4.7.3 and Qt Mobility 1.1.3 releases. Both releases are bringing in important bug fixes for Qt and for Qt Mobility, especially for the Symbian platform, and incorporates feedback from the Qt SDK 1.1 beta and candidate releases. In case you are wondering where the Qt Mobility 1.1.2 release is, we decided to skip it due to three issues we found in the SDK release testing, and moved straight to 1.1.3.

Qt 4.7.3 and Qt Mobility 1.1.3 are available as part of the Qt SDK 1.1, and for Qt Mobility 1.1.3, the sources are also available separately in ZIP and tar format. Qt packages can be downloaded from the Qt Download page, and for those who prefer to get it directly from the public git repository at The release has been tagged there as “v4.7.3,” and the changes are listed in the Qt 4.7.3 changelog.

As usual, feedback is welcome via the Qt Bug Tracker, and for code, documentation or autotests contributions, please head to
