Conexware today released the fourth beta release of Powerarchiver 11.0. This program can handle the most common archiving types such as zip, 7z, cab, lha tar, gzip, bzip2, rar, arj, arc and ace. In addition, it can also read CD or DVD images, including iso, bin, img and nrg. The first thing you notice about Powerarchiver 2009 is that there are now two different versions available: a standard and a professional edition. The first contains everything we are used to from the old Powerarchiver, while the other can also burn CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs, create iso files and also mount them as a virtual drive. Finally, this variant can also be used as ftp- client are used. In this fourth beta, among other things, the startup time has been shortened, the program uses less memory, burned discs can be verified and, of course, the necessary bugs have also been fixed:
