Software Update: phpMyFAQ 1.6.0 alpha

A system to easily create and maintain clear and comprehensive FAQs is phpMyFAQ. The system runs on an environment with at least PHP 4.1.0, a database (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Sybase, MS SQL Server, IBM Cloudscape or Apache Derby) and a web server such as Apache or IIS. The Complete feature list reports, among other things, that there is a Content Management System, a Template system and a Community module with integration for an ldap server. The developers have released the first alpha of phpMyFAQ 1.6.0 with the following announcement:

The phpMyFAQ team is pleased to announce the first alpha release of phpMyFAQ 1.6.0. This release adds a unique solution id to every FAQ record and adds support for a wiki-like revision system. The spam protections is really better now with the support for captchas. Do not use this version in production systems, but test this version and report bugs!
