Software Update: phpMyAdmin 2.2.3
DiveZoner informed us that a new version of the well-known phpmyadmin has been released. In this version there are again several fixes and updates on the php code. The download link points to a ZIP file. The .TAR.GZ is here to find. Below is the changelog for this version.
Special note:
To support the new authentication mode ‘cookie’, there is now a new configuration variable ‘auth_type’, and ‘adv_auth’ no longer exists. You can still use http basic authentication. As usual, start from the new config.inc.* file and read the documentation
Fixes:
bug with text and time type fields with the “query by example” feature;
bug with the database creation form that may be displayed when it shouldn’t or may be missing when it should be displayed.
Some improvements:
multiple tables printable view;
checkboxes for null values;
support for OS/2 browsers;
links to short page of MySQL documentation;
vertical display mode;
cookie authentication mode;
improved dump feature in order to limit timeout or memory out effects;
some languages were updated.
