Software Update: Pegasus Mail 4.11

Pegasus Mail 4.11 is the replacement for version 4.1 that was recently removed from the site. Since the previous release, there have been several new features built-in such as content control, grouped views and template editor. The program works together with the Mercury Mail Transport System† Below is a portion of the release notes:

The first of a number of releases of Pegasus Mail for Windows planned for 2003, Pegasus Mail v4.1 is now available. Version 4.1 is a major release with some sophisticated new capabilities that set it apart from all previous releases – one highlight, for example, is full support for secure connections via SSL, using Peter Gutmann’s superb cryptlib encryption library (we will be making considerable use of cryptlib in Pegasus Mail in the course of the remaining releases this year, by providing S/MIME support, encrypted file formats and more). As well as new functionality, version 4.1 also has many, many fixes and corrections, and the incremental process of improving HTML rendering and reliability without compromising security has continued.
