Download Opera 10.61 build 3467 (RC1)

The first release candidate of version 10.61 of the web browser Opera was released on Wednesday. Opera is Norwegian-made and has browsers for all major computing platforms and a large number of mobile platforms. The browser offers tabs, can be controlled with mouse gestures, has an embedded download manager and offers protection against phishing and malware. In addition to surfing, Opera can also send email, has a built-in BitTorrent client and chat via irc or the Opera-developed social network Unite. Version 10.60 uses version 2.6 of the rendering engine Presto, which improves speed and stability and opens the door to new capabilities, including geolocation and offline web applications. Version 10.61 is a maintenance release and mainly contains bug fixes.
