Software update: Notepad++ 6.6.9

Version 6.6.9 of Notepad++ has been released. This comprehensive text editor has various features that are especially useful for programmers, such as syntax highlighting for C, C++, Java, html, XML and php, among others. The program also offers the possibility to edit more than one document at the same time or even to maintain one document in two different places. If you want to use the latest version, you will have to pick it up yourself. Notepad++’s built-in updater only offers updates a week after their appearance in order to be able to fix any serious bugs. In version 6.6, session snapshot has been added, an automatic backup function. In version 6.6.9 the following changes and improvements have been made:

Notepad++ v6.6.9 new features and bug fixes:

  • Fix comment command bug that the comment symbols isn’t set on the first column for Fortran.
  • Add python parson for function List.
  • Make icons’ background color transparent for functionList and projectManager.
  • New feature: Apply new file default settings on created new file (opened via command line).
  • Fix color picker’ chooser bug which does not work well.
