Software Update: NetSetMan 4.3.4

Ilja Herlein has released version 4.3.4 of NetSetMan and due to an error a successor was immediately published. With this program, various settings can be adjusted quickly and easily by means of profiles. It is especially useful for laptop users who use their computers in different locations such as home and work. For example, with the push of a button the IP address, the default printer and the smtp server can be changed. The program is free to use, but there is also a pro version for commercial users, which also allows customizing the domain, proxy server and browser homepage. The changelog shows the following changes and improvements:

Changes in version 4.3.4:

  • NEW: AutoSwitch Condition “User Name” that allows automatically switching profiles based on the logged on Windows user
  • NEW: Export/Import profile groups
  • NEW: Possibility to view the passwords of all locally stored WiFi profiles
  • Fix: Restore profile and group selection on program start
  • Fix: Updating position of Logon Icon if screen resolution changes
  • Fix: Updating caption of subprofiles
  • Fix: Some Drag&Drop issues in Network Adapter Management
  • Minor improvements for NSM WiFi Management
  • Importing settings/profiles/groups now automatically creates a backup
  • Empty values ​​aren’t written to the settings file anymore to reduce file size
  • If a required default certificate isn’t available, it’s automatically installed
