Download MSN Messenger update for PocketPC

E-Vix draws our attention to the following update from Microsoft: “As of today, the update from Microsoft is available that ensures that MSN on your PocketPC controlled handheld will continue to function after October 15. As some of you probably already know, Microsoft implements from a security update on his MSN network on this date, which means that ‘old’ MSN clients will no longer work. With this new version you can also chat on mobile after the 15th of October:”

Pocket PC and Pocket PC Phone Edition customers should update their MSN Messenger clients by downloading the following updates to their devices prior to October 15, 2003 to prevent any MSN Messenger service interruptions. You will still be able to download the update after October 15, but will not have access to the Service until the download has been completed.
