Software update: MSN Messenger 7.0604 beta

We managed to get hold of the latest version of MSN Messenger. This is an internal build that has been given version number 7.0604 and is still in beta stage. By clicking on this link the new MSN Messenger can be downloaded. In build 604 of the 7 series you can use a personal message and the people who have you on their contact list can see which song is played by you. The full release notes look like this:

This is build 604 of MSN Messenger 7 Beta. It includes a number of enhancements over the previous build (425). Most notable is the personal message which you can set to contain a message for all your contacts to see. If you are running Windows Media Player v10 you can also enable your contacts to see what music files you are currently playing.
