Download MediaMonkey 2.4 beta 2

MediaMonkey is a program that allows you to play music, modify ID3 tags, rip audio CDs, convert audio files and even burn audio CDs. The full list of possibilities is on this one place to read. The development team has released a second beta of version 2.4 with the following release notes:

This is going to take some of you by surprise, but we’ve decided that rather than holding off on the release of MM 2.4 for some other new features that are in the wings, that it would make sense to release 2.4 with the current feature set, since there are a variety of stability improvements over 2.3.

This build should cover the remaining critical issues that have been raised and will become a release candidate as soon as localization work is completed.

As usual, feedback is much appreciated.

• Fixed bidirectional iPod synchronization corrupts files in some cases
• Fixed Generic Portable/Audio devices should have a default name
• Fixed tree scrolls horizontally too much when node text is long
