Maxthon has updated its web browser of the same name to version 1.2.2. Maxthon is not a standalone browser like Firefox, but it uses Internet Explorer to build its pages. It also has the necessary extra bells and whistles on board. For example, you can surf using tabs, the mouse can be used in a convenient way to control the program (so-called mouse gestures) and it has a popup and ad blocker. The appearance of the program can also be adjusted using skins. Maxthon can be downloaded as a Combo or as a Standard version, where the difference lies in the number of plugins and skins that are supplied as standard.
