Software Update: LimeWire 4.10.5

Limeware version 4.10.5 was released today. With this program, which is available for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X, among others, files can be exchanged via the Gnutella network. Limeware Basic is the free version of this program, but for about 20 US dollars you can also get the Pro version, which promises better search results and faster downloads, among other things. Changes in 4.10.5:

• LimeWire works on Intel-based Macs now! 🙂
• Fix a bug that would make LW crash with some foreign characters
• Minor download bug fixes

Changes in 4.10.4:

• Fix a serious download bug; that will make downloads start much faster
• Fix a bug where old incomplete downloads would start from 0%
• Fix a weird freeze upon startup
