Software Update: Google Web Accelerator 0.1.52.58 beta

Google has the first beta version put online from Web Accelerator, namely 0.1.52.58 beta. This program makes itself comfortable in Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox and claims to reduce the loading times of Internet pages. These faster loading times are achieved by using different methods of caching: according to Google, sites are sent via its own network, the program uses local prefetching and sites are only downloaded if they have been changed. Cookies and unencrypted web pages can be temporarily stored in Google’s buffer, as well as unvisited websites can be buffered in the local prefetch.
