Software update: Gaim 1.2.0

The *nix variant of the instant messaging program Gaim has been updated to version 1.2.0. However, the version for Windows has not yet been updated and is still at 1.1.4. Gaim supports a number of different IM networks, including AIM, ICQ, MSN, Yahoo, IRC, Jabber, Gadu-Gadu, Zephyr, SILC, and GroupWise. Versions for Fedora, Red Hat and Mandrake, among others, are available from this one page to be downloaded. The changelog shows the following changes:
