Download Fraps 2.3.1

Fraps released two new versions of its eponymous program in quick succession as a successor to version 2.2.5. Fraps can show the number of frames per second in any DirectX or OpenGL game. In addition, it is also capable of taking screenshots or even recording movies at a speed of thirty frames per second. New in version 2.3.1 is full support and optimization for Windows XP SP2, and a 256-color capture engine. The latter is capable of taking screenshots with perfect quality, but with a much smaller file size. The full changelog looks like this:
