Friday, without a beta release this time, version 0.9.6.7 of foobar2000 was released. This popular music player can handle MP3, aac, ogg vorbis, flac and ogg flac, wav and wma, among others, as well as support for Replay Gain. The player can also convert different formats and the program has extensive options to adjust the tags. In addition, it is possible to change the functionality using plugins to expand further. To improve stability, specific versions of certain plugins can recently be blocked when they generate too many crash reports. In this release, two issues have been fixed and the list of ‘wrong’ plugins has been updated:
Changes in version 0.9.6.7
- Hotfix: fixed crash when seeking in files that can’t be decoded completely.
- Hotfix: corrected weird behaviors after restart with playback paused and “resume playback after restart” active.
- Updated third-party component blacklist.
