BlackB1rd threw in the submit that there is a new version of the burning program FireBurner. The Linux version can be downloaded here as SFX. An RPM is also available for Redhat 7.1 and above and can be downloaded here. The Source RPM can be found here.

Below is the changelog for this new version.

2.1.6 -> 2.1.7 changelog:

1. Burn initiation code revamped to include workaround for infamous Send Cue Sheet problem.

2. Status screen related to burn initiation tweaked to improve performance

3.Device detection code tweaked. FB now detects Teac CD-W524E and NEC NR-7800A drives properly. Fixed hanging problem with Kenwood CD/DVD readers.

4. FB now correctly detects JustLink capability in Samsung recorders.

5. The FB installer will now ask you first if you want to disable AutoRun”:
