Download Filezilla Server 0.9.28

Today version 0.9.28 of the open source ftp server Filezilla was released. Filezilla Server is a small but powerful ftp server that includes support for fxp (sending files from one ftp server to another), secure connections (ssl and tls), gss authentication and Kerberos encryption. Unlike the client version, which has been available for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X since version 3.0, the server version only runs on Windows. There is also no active development. For the past year and a half, the changelog contains only bug fixes and this release is no exception:

Fixed bugs:

• Directly reject PROT C if PROT P is required instead of complaining after a transfer command
• Fix race in transfer connection initialization leading to timeouts
• No-transfer timeouts could not be disabled in 0.9.27
• Server startup options in installer had no effect
