Emsisoft has released version 5.5 of Online Armor. This firewall program is available in Free and Premium flavors. The Premium version includes file and registry monitoring, DNS spoofing protection, automatic updates and a special mode for online banking. A license for Premium costs 30 euros per year. The most important improvements in version 5.5 are listed below.

Anti-Malware Network Integration
Unknown programs are directly checked in the cloud. It Anti-Malware Network contains information about ± 4 million programs. Programs that are harmless are automatically allowed, which reduces the hassle of popups asking if program X is allowed to do this or that.

New cloud scan
Our cloud scan used in MalAware is now also available in Online Armor. Even though there is no information about a particular program available in the Anti-Malware Network, more than 7 million malware definitions guarantee good malware detection.

Improved licensing and update system
Software updates are now downloaded and installed much faster. In addition, Online Armor now uses the same licensing system as other Emsisoft products. In our Customer Center you can now easily manage all your Emsisoft licenses. No more hassle with resetting a license when you replace or reinstall your operating system.

Loyal customers are rewarded
When renewing the license, you will receive a 25% discount for the first year. Every following year an additional 5% discount. Loyal customers can benefit from a maximum of 50% discount when renewing the license.
