Software update: CPU-Z 2.00

CPUID has released version 2.00 of CPU-Z for Windows, a nice round number, but nothing more than the logical successor to version 1.99. This small program provides extensive information about the processor, motherboard and memory in the computer. In addition, the program can provide information about the graphics card in the computer, albeit limited. It is better to use GPU-Z for this, which despite a similar name is not from the same makers. The download contains separate versions for 32bit and 64bit environments. There are also downloads available with a specific manufacturer’s theme, such as ASUS, MSI and Asrock. Recognition for the following CPUs has been added in this release:

  • Preliminary support of AMD Ryzen 6000 “Rembrandt” APUs.
