Software update: BWMeter 2.3.5

Desksoft has just released version 2.3.5 of BWMeter. With this program the data traffic to and from the computer or on the network can be monitored. Not special in itself, but BWMeter can also analyze the data packets. This way it can see where it is coming from, where it is going, and which port and protocol are being used. In this way, a distinction can be made between local and internet traffic. It is also possible to use filters to monitor data traffic from and to certain internet pages, for example. Since the previous entry in the muck tracker, the following changes have been made:

Changes in version 2.3.5:

• Fix: updated network driver
• Fix: speed limits greater 1 MB/s now work correctly
• Fix: internal changes of the setup routine

Changes in version 2.3.4:

• Fix: NT 4.0: if in service mode and tray icon doesn’t show up automatically, simply starting BWMeter again will display it
