Auto Gordian Knot is a point-and-click program to convert video to DivX or XviD. There is not much to set in the program, so you can’t really do much wrong. The program is under constant development and new versions are regularly released. Version 1.22 beta has just been released and the changelog shows the following changes:

Version 1.22 beta:

• maximum fixed resolution is increased to 1024
• number of frames is detected correctly with new DVD2AVIdg
• language tracks info is added as comments to the video AVI stream (to use with MMSwitch)

Version 1.21 beta:

• fixed a problem in handling pure FILM sources

Version 1.20 beta:

• updated BeSweet to version 1.5b27
• updated DVD2AVIdg to version 1.2.0 RC7 (testing required)
• input AR less than 1.4 is considered 4:3 material and that output AR is forced
