Samsung has the Android 11 software upgrade with One UI 3.0 ready for the Galaxy S20 FE and is in the process of sending it to devices. Russian owners of the 4G version of the smartphone seem to be the first to receive the software.

The website Sammobile noted that the software upgrade is beginning to arrive at Russian users of the Galaxy S20 FE, which appears to be the 4G version of the device. It is common for such an update to be released in phases, and users in other countries are expected to soon be able to access the software as well.

With the upgrade, owners of the Galaxy S20 FE will get Android 11 on their device, with the One UI 3.0 from Samsung on top. The December security patch is also included. Samsung previously released the software upgrade for the other devices in the Galaxy S20 series.

Samsung released the Galaxy S20 FE in October. It is a cheaper version of the previously released Galaxy S20. Compared to the regular S20, the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition has a lower screen resolution of 2400×1080 pixels, an optical fingerprint scanner instead of an ultrasonic variant, and flat rounded screen edges.
