According to a rumor, Samsung is organizing an Unpacked event for the introduction of new smartphones on August 5. The South Korean manufacturer is said to be announcing its Note 20 models, Galaxy Fold 2 and Z Flip 5G. The phones would be released on August 20.

youtuber Jon Prosser names the three devices and the dates. He reports in his tweet that he has surfaced the information together with Twitter user UniverseIce. The two regularly post reliable details about unannounced smartphones.

Rumors about these smartphones have been going on for some time. The Galaxy Fold 2 would get a larger screen on the front and be equipped with a stylus and the camera set-up from the Galaxy S20 +. The 5g version of the Galazy Z Flip is due to be released in both Europe and South Korea, but other details are not yet known. Several models will probably appear in the Note 20 series. Renders have already appeared that presumably show the appearance of the Galaxy Note 20 and the Note 20+.

Samsung has presented its Note smartphones in August in recent years. The company does this with so-called Unpacked events, which often take place in multiple locations. It is not yet known whether the company will give a physical presentation this year, or only via a live stream due to the limitations of the corona pandemic.
