The official renders and specifications of the OPPO Find X5 and the X5 Lite have appeared online. This has already happened with the X5 Pro. The regular X5 resembles the top model, but is somewhat smaller and has different camera sensors. The Lite is a completely different device.
The appearance of the OPPO Find X5 is almost identical to that of the X5 Pro, according to the renders that WinFuture has published. The site recently posted all the details of the top model and has now also published all renders and specifications of the two models positioned below.
The top model contains relatively large camera sensors. It is not yet known which sensors are in the regular X5, but it is probably other copies. Both devices will receive OPPO’s MariSilicon X chip for image processing. The cameras have been tuned in collaboration with Hasselblad, just like OnePlus has been doing for several years now. Hasselblad is originally a Swedish camera brand, but since 2017 the Chinese DJI has a majority stake in the brand.
The X5 Pro and X5 will get Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Snapdragon 888, respectively. Inside the X5 Lite is a MediaTek Dimensity 900-soc. The Lite device has a completely different look and different cameras. This device also gets a ‘macro camera’ with a 2-megapixel sensor instead of a telephoto camera with a 13-megapixel sensor. In addition, it does not support wireless charging and the device will run on Android 11 upon release.
It is not yet clear when OPPO plans to announce its X5 phones. WinFuture is known for publishing details about smartphones just before they are officially announced. OPPO may present the devices around the Mobile World Congress that starts at the end of February.
