Realme presents budget smartphones with MediaTek G70 and G80 soc in India

Realme has presented a new series of budget smartphones in India. Two models appear in the Narzo line. The Narzo 10A costs converted 104 euros and has a MediaTek Helio G70 soc. There is also a Narzo 10 with G80 soc for 147 euros converted.

Realme aims with its Narzo smartphones at young buyers and states that the devices are suitable for games such as PUBG. For this, the manufacturer uses midrange SOCs from MediaTek, the Helio G80 and G70. Those are octacores with a Mali-G52 GPU, but the GPU is clocked higher in the G80. The phones were presented via a live stream.

The smartphones have a 6.5″ LCD measuring 15.1×6.8cm with a surface area of ​​108 square centimeters, a ratio of 20:9, a resolution of 1600×720 pixels and a teardrop-shaped notch for the front camera. There are four cameras on the back of the Narzo 10. The Narzo 10A also has those last two cameras, but no ultra-wide-angle camera and a primary camera with 12-megapixel sensor.

Both phones have a 5000mAh battery. The Narzo 10 can fast charge with 18W and with the 10A that is limited to 10W. The phones run on Android 10 with the realme UI shell on top. Realme will release the phones in India this month for 8499 and 11,999 rupees. Converted that is about 104 and 147 euros.

Realme is part of the Chinese electronics group BBK, which also includes OnePlus, Oppo, Vivo and iQOO. Whether and when realme will bring the Narzo phones to Europe is not yet known. Realme now sells part of its range in Europe. For example, the manufacturer released the realme 6 series with 90Hz screens this year with a price from 230 euros.
