Razer has opened its own online store for digital games under the name Game Store. There, the maker of gaming hardware, in its own words, offers ‘thousands of titles’. It uses a loyalty program based on its own digital currency.

The store currently shows 2210 results for games in all categories. Razer announces that it will offer titles from Ubisoft, Bethesda, Rockstar and Bandai Namco, among others. For the US, UK, Germany and France there is ‘localized content, prices, payment methods and customer service’. For users outside those countries, they can make purchases on the English site, where they can pay in euros. Games come in the form of Steam or Uplay keys.

Customers can build up ‘zSilver’ with purchases, which can be converted into a discount on future purchases, for example games or hardware. According to Razer, there will be a weekly selection of games it refers to as “exclusives,” which have a higher discount and qualify for higher rewards.

Razer is engaged in selling peripherals for gamers in the form of, for example, keyboards and mice. The store opening is a step towards software for the company with headquarters in Singapore and San Francisco.
