The French site mobile phone has pulled out some photos of Mitac’s newest PocketPC’s from his top hat. The Mitac Mio P350 and P550 are said to be both equipped with a 400MHz CPU and a built-in GPS receiver. The most expensive model, the P550, would also be equipped with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi communication options. Further details such as the amount of memory, the launch date or the cost have not yet been revealed, but no doubt these devices will be on display at CeBIT next month.

Besides these PocketPCs, Mitac also comes up with some pure GPS route planners. The C710 and C510E have a similar design and are equipped with Windows CE.net 4.2, a GPS receiver and Bluetooth support. TeleAtlas maps are used to determine the optimal route to a destination. The Mio C710 also offers support for TMC information, real-time data on traffic jams and obstacles on the travel route, and is equipped with maps of 25 European countries, while the C510E has to make do with a regional map and the main roads of Europe. The C210 is the entry-level model of the GPS system series and has to do without Bluetooth. The housing of this variant also seems to be inspired by the TomTom Go devices.

Finally, there is the Mio H610. This handheld is mainly equipped for multimedia functions, but like its colleagues it has a built-in GPS receiver and is equipped with TeleAtlas maps of twenty-five European countries. Furthermore, this device emphasizes the possibility to play videos and music. According to the specifications, the device could even play MP3s continuously for 17 hours after a full charge of the battery. Moreover, it is clear that the multimedia functions have been thought of in the design of this device.
